Entries for the Heating Installer Awards 2018 are open from now until February. Plumbers and heating engineers can now enter, including apprentices.

Here at Trade Direct Insurance, we’re mad about trade awards. What better way to find the best of the best and celebrate tradespeople going above and beyond?

That’s what the Heating Installer Awards 2018 is all about. Now in its third year, the awards is once again looking for top plumbers and heating installers to enter.

This year the Heating Installer Awards is being sponsored by big industry names including Danfoss, Wolesley, Avanti Gas, Polypipe, Sentinel, Installer Magazine and Vaillant.

They’re all looking for installers who “continually demonstrate expert technicality and skill, deliver exceptional customer service and use the most innovative technology in their installations”.

How does it work?

Entries for the Heating Installer Awards 2018 are open from now until February. At that point a panel of judges will decide on the finalist from each of 11 different regions across the UK. This lucky list of finalists will then be put to the public, who will decide on the final winner.

How do I enter?

If you’re a plumber or heating installer and you think you have what it takes to win the Heating Installer Awards 2018, visit heatinginstallerawards.co.uk. Just fill in the form and describe a project or job where you’ve gone beyond the call of duty. You can even add photos or video footage to beef up your entry!

What about apprentices?

Good news! If you’re an apprentice you can enter the Heating Installer Awards for the first time ever. Plumbing and heating apprentices can visit @AotMAwards or email apprentice@refreshpr.co.uk, and submit a short video, highlighting their achievements as apprentices.

Last year’s winner Peter Booth of G V Booth Plumbing had this to say.

“Throughout the course of my career, and especially since winning the competition last year, I have spent a lot of my personal time trying to unite the champions of the industry. The Heating Installer Awards is a great way to acknowledge this hard work and whilst I won’t be happy to give up my crown, other installers deserve the recognition I’ve enjoyed since last year’s competition.”
